anyone going this year?

A nice mix already announced with qotsa, sigur ros, animal collective, slipknot and errr rhianna. Its the one abroad ive always wanted to go to and didnt quite manage it last year due to personal reasons.

8 days of music...bring it on.

Haven't heard much about this one to be honest, heard its massive but 8 days of music?!?!! That's amazing!!

Schedules all booked up for this year but this sounds like a good one to do in the future - who's headlining this year? Or have they yet to announce most of the acts? How much is a ticket?

I know you haven't been yet but do you know if it's easy to get to?

8 days of music which is 4 days full programme and 4 days of warm up with up and coming nordic bands playing 2 stages.

They say roskilde is the european glastonbury with lots to do other than the bands and it has a lake you can swim in whey hey.

Lineups dont seem as strong as say werchter but more varied. They seem to release a few names a week rather than one go. Slipknot, qotsa and rhianna have been announced so presume they will headline.

Tick cost approx £200.

Fly to copenhagen and then a train straight to roskilde, so pretty easy to get there.

Cant wait.

i'm making plans for RK! can't wait, I made friends with a Danish fella walking the Camino in spain last summer, and RK is all he talks about, so exciting for danish beer bowling, and swimming in the lake...not to mention the line-up.
