lol!! at the duvet idea! we are just taking 2 blow up matresses ( lilo's basically) and covering them with a wee cotton fitted sheet- sorted!. probably still feel like being steam cooked alive - but worth a shot.looking forward to it - but grimacing at the thought of showering in the open- how do you get a good wash with a swimsuit on?.

Liking the Lilo and sheet idea :) and the showers will be a nice relief from the heat! are there many showers does anyone know?

ahhh 1 week! so excited. Does anyone know from experience whether arriving at 10pm on Tue will be a bad idea, is it far to get to the campsite?

Siobhan :)

Hi again all,

I've asked before, but am now confused (it's my age!) about what order to do things in when you get there. I'm driving down, staying in villa camp and have a car park space.

I was told on here to get wristbands first, but the FIB site says

VILLACAMP

Holders of any type of ticket who have also bought a ticket for VillaCamp will have access to VillaCamp.

Those with a ticket for VillaCamp can go straight to this camping area where they will be able to exchange it for the wristband for this camping area.

Once you have settled in, go to the Wristband Exchange if you have a 4, 3, 2 or 1 day Ticket at the Accreditations Office if you have a VIP pass. There you can exchange the wristband that will give you access to the Concert Venue.

So do I park first, then villa camp, then wristbands? Doing everything in my power to get there at 0900 Monday, so don't want to miss a great spot because i do things in the wrong order! There are 11 of us camping together in 3 huge tents, so need to secure a good, large area.

I've emailed them, but no response yet. I imagine it will be announced on the FIb twitter when they're available. If you go on to the official ticket selling page, there is a button for hiring lockers - but it still says 'coming soon'. I'm hoping to get a locker this year, now that they're using a proper system, rather than the weird super-expensive system they had before.

When researching the buses I found this website most helpful http://www.danespfib.com/joomla/index.php/castellonfestivalshuttle.html but I don't know if it's up to date. People have complained about the buses becoming full but I don't know if this is still a problem nowadays.

This website also has information about the local buses (one of which goes between Castellon and Benicassim in the day time) http://www.autobusescastellon.com/ although it is almost impossible to navigate.
