Hello all! I just got tickets for my boyfriend and myself for free from Supajam on Friday (50 more come out on Monday SupaJam Tickets - Festival Tickets), and I just spent most of my weekend reading this thread from page 1 to 96! Got a couple of questions...

1. Is there seriously no wine inside the festival? Not even sherry? Also anyone know what brand of gin they serve inside?

2. Anyone got a website with the local bus routes on it? Staying near the Intur hotels and might want to save my feet by getting a cheap bus to/from town centre and the festival itself. Also do you buy bus passes on the bus or from a tobacconist?

3. Are there any properly decent restaurants? We're kind of snobby about food, and it's our anniversary, so it would be nice to have somewhere good to eat. Is it worth leaving Benicassim and popping to a nearby town? Also we went to Madrid in May and spent our time hopping between tapas bars just having a racione in each one. Is this a possibility? Do proper tapas bars exist here?

4. The train that runs between El Prat and Sants: do you have to reserve seats on this like other Spanish trains?

For anyone staying in Barcelona before/after and on a budget then go drinking in Poble Sec (the neighbourhood south of Av Paral.lel). It's not as touristy as the rest of the city so the drinks are very cheap. Also if anyone is going without a budget then definitely go to Carrer de Rocafort just off Av Paral.lel. There is a brilliant gin bar called XIX and a delicious tapas restaurant opposite called Lolita (formerly Inopia).

I know some people were asking about exchanging wristbands at weird times of day. These are the opening times: http://fiberfib.com/index.php/en/info2/descargas/horarios-generales

Finally this hasn't been mentioned yet so I thought I'd just point out that you can't get into the arena in flip flops so pack some trainers! Or at least I'm sure I read it on the fiberfib website.

So keen to see QOTSA! I'd like to reiterate the fact that the new album is brilliant (and features Elton John)

Hi again all,

I've asked before, but am now confused (it's my age!) about what order to do things in when you get there. I'm driving down, staying in villa camp and have a car park space.

I was told on here to get wristbands first, but the FIB site says

VILLACAMP

Holders of any type of ticket who have also bought a ticket for VillaCamp will have access to VillaCamp.

Those with a ticket for VillaCamp can go straight to this camping area where they will be able to exchange it for the wristband for this camping area.

Once you have settled in, go to the Wristband Exchange if you have a 4, 3, 2 or 1 day Ticket at the Accreditations Office if you have a VIP pass. There you can exchange the wristband that will give you access to the Concert Venue.

So do I park first, then villa camp, then wristbands? Doing everything in my power to get there at 0900 Monday, so don't want to miss a great spot because i do things in the wrong order! There are 11 of us camping together in 3 huge tents, so need to secure a good, large area.

    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
