I'm looking at the possibility of booking a hotel or something for the duration of the week but they're all pretty expensive as I guessed. Has anyone ever stayed at the Camping Riberamar bungalows and know how far out they are from the site?

Hi all,

Next tuesday will be another batch of acts announced, (not the last headliner, as it will be announced in a forthnight)...

Regarding the local bus pass, it cost €12.50 for unlimited travel for 8 days with-in the Benicassim área.

FIB Camping sites: the Campfest which is included in your admission ticket is about 1 mile from the beach and the Villacamp, extra €80/€90 per person is approx 3/4 mile from the beach,

you can find a situation map and more information at www.benicassimfestival.info

What's the best way to get from Central Castellon to FIB, We're staying in a hotel there.

We were thinking Train to Beni and then get a cab back afterwards. Are there buses which will run direct from the festival site to Castellon?

Done it last year as my first experience of beni. Everything is a bit more civilised / sorted out (rows of tents rather then a mashup). Private showers (5/6 cubicles in a caravan kind of thing). Some of our friends were camping in the normal camping and we were chuffed we weren't in there. We are all villacamping this time around as well.

Does anyone know wich were the bus prices from the Festival to the Beach?

Apart from the waterpark and the beach, what else is there to do the days before the festival?

I'm also wondering this. I know there's go karting but is there any good bars? Has anyone been to Castellon? Is it worth having a trip there for a day Monday-Wednesday?

I would agree with dp313 but somewhere I remember from my last trip to Benicassim (Went to the festival but also on a "normal holiday"). It's Peniscola, a few miles up the road. Very historic and chilled place. Still tourist orientated but a good place away to get away from it all. Won't be many festival goers but you could chill in the early evening, get a nice meal then head back to Benicassim

    • Pretty sure some will be more than that.
    • It's a shame for lots of bands cancelling tours due to poor ticket sales but I'm one of the culprits as I'll wait now closer to the time as theres always a chance of a seat filler or Twickets for half the price. If the bands charged a reasonable price to start with then they'll sell out regardless. Look at Paul Heaton, £39+fees tickets for arenas where some bands are charing £150+fees for the same arena. Prices for drinks in those places is a joke too so many pick and choose.
    • Might just wait it out for the summer shows that got mentioned tbh
    • Good on him i think, though it depends on whether he really does love the music (like Steve Davis) or is just moving into it as a bizarre career option (Gok Wan, from the ten mins i observed from the side of a field once, stood there with no idea whats going on)
    • Better Man, Black maybe. I guess was the same for Metaliica.   They do have a history of bringing on some big guests, for example Pete Townsend and play Who numbers. My gut is they would prob pull it off but they'd get a section of crown leave after a bit. I don't see it happen even though I'd love it.    Other Stage would be immense.   I seem to remember Emily Eavis watching at a Wembley arena night and if it was regular gig with more random unknown fan favourite songs she saw she prob thought not suitable for Pyramid.
