bbc weather looks atrocious! not helping with my excitement!

BBC prob the least reliable weather site i check, the latestfestivalweather one i posted originally looking like patchy rain all weekend, the 3 hourly breakdown for tomorrow seems to be rainy or drizzley all day long though - so looking like a wet tent setup.

XC Weather is what alot of fisherman use where I come from to get there weather reports. Pretty reliable IMO. Friday looks poor. But Saturday and Sunday look decent

No, we have a fucker of a 6 man tent too pitch, aswell as a 3 man for friends that are arriving laters, we gonna be soaked!

It was fine, few showers, sun never came out but it was still mild so wasn't to cold!

I live in London. Given what I've now seen in the news, glad I was in a tent in the Highlands! Wasn't too bad at all.

(My first Rockness - *that* view. There's different weather at the other end of the loch!)

It looks like ye had it a damn sight better than Download festival anyways, that was apparently a muddy quagmire.

I was very pleased with the weather especially considering what it could have been, bit of drizzle Friday and Saturday morning, also I am sure the sun came out albeit for about 10 seconds I was at front of the main stage and everybody cheered.

Friday night the rain didn't even fall. It hung suspended in the air.

I believe the technical name for this weather type is not "drizzle" but the rare and famed "Scotch Mist".

We had a few seconds of sun peaking through the cloud on the Friday afternoon when setting the tents up, got a massive cheer. Early Saturday evening i think the sun made an appearance again for a wee while. Stayed dry during the day and evening, some light rain around 4-6am on the Saturday. I did think it was pretty cold all weekend though, on the plus side it kept the drinks at optimum temperatures!
