haha you are the 9% :-)

that's good to hear actually. we didn't go last year and I don't have any recollection of what the toilets were like in 2010. that must mean they weren't too bad. I do have lasting memories of what they were like in 2008, and I would really prefer to forget. they were awful.

We camped in the efestivals camp that year and I randomly met a guy from the camp last night, at a ska music night at a local festival. not seen him in 4 years! he mentioned the 2008 toilets situation - haha, not easy to forget.

it's getting close now and the suns out *excited* :-)

If you read the direction from the South, it does look like we will be going via a seperate entrance.

Standard campsite ticket holders:

Look out for the A6 passing underneath the Motorway

Approx 1 mile after this turn L into the Lowther Estate

Follow driveway to main car park

Campervans, Emperors Fields and The Deer Lodge ticket holders:

For entrance to Emperors Fields, Campervans and The Deer Lodge please follow signs for All Camping. - Im assuming that this will mean that we will be turing off further on down the road

That's me sorted with the exception of food and drink.

The middle of my garage now looks like a stock take from a car boot sale!! Wellies, walking boots, walking shoes, trainers for every possible eventuality (although I think wellies & walking boots will be order of the day due to all the rain over the last 2 months).

My freezer is full of 2 litre bottles of water, so much better for cool boxes than those blue ice blocks (plus you can drink them as they thaw out!).

Only 3 more days at work....it's been a long 12 months

Have you got a shoe fetish Mick??

Good idea but ice is heavier than water!

Never has a truer word been spoken...the clocks ticking!

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
