Top 3, Worse 3

BEST

The Strokes - we got right to the front and it so good, Julian was also very talkative.

Muse - First time I've seen them and it will not be the last.

Dry The River - They've been one of my favourite bands of this year and that just topped it off.

Honourable mentions to Edward Sharpe, Cloud Control, White Lies and Vaccines.

WORST

MCR - Gerard Way is such a f**king loser, he can't sing and most of all he is frontman to an awful band.

Panic At The Disco - Rubbish

Top 3.

1) - Pulp

2) - Muse

3) - MCR

(If I couldn't chose a headliner it'd have to be either 30STM or Madness)

Worst 3

1) - The Strokes. Really looking forward to seeing them and everyone was telling me how good they were but they were boring.

2) - Enter Shikari. I love them, seen them 4 times now and that was by far the worst huge disappointment

3) - Deftones. They were just awful.

Best

1.) Pulp - It was always going to be Pulp for me. I've been a massive fan since the 90s and they didn't disappoint. A magnificent setlist, great banter and every song was perfect. The perfect ending to the festival.

2.) Elbow - Mindblowing, they're just a beautiful band and when they get it right it can make you feel amazing inside.

3.) MCR - I was really looking forward to them despite all the bad mouthing they got beforehand and I'm so glad that they nailed it. They deserve every bit of praise they get.

Worst

1.) The Strokes - Piss poor, lazy performance. damn shame as I used to be a big fan.

2.) The Petebox - What a load of shite that was!

3.) 30 Seconds To Mars - Jeeso, caught about two minutes while waiting for my girlfriend who was at the loo. 30 Seconds To Mars? 120 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
