Arcade fire have two platinum albums in the uk (and are bigger outside the uk than the other two were) and would quite possibly have a third

With ME saying he is getting a little concerned with the spread of dance music away from the Dance Village, I can't see Daft Punk being booked for a major slot. Maybe Chase and Status or an act like Pendulum, or Prodigy, which are more "cross over" will headline Other in 2013. But I very much doubt we will see Daft Punk in 2013.

I can beleive that, it didn't have standout singles/live favourites like Funeral or the exposure of The Suburbs.

I don't think anyone will persuade you that Arcade Fire are big enough to headline Glastonbury which is fair enough but I would guarantee they'll headline in either 2012 or 2013.

I've seen AF at the hackney empire (small) and rock en seine (not the pyramid but bigger than other) and the singalong to wake up was epic at both. There is enough of them, and they have enough energy, to fill any stage IMO plus their sound is excellent... I think they would have got as big crowd as u2 did on the Friday, though I'm blinded by my love for them!
