Hi,

I live in a work owned house and have done for 4 years, anyway I work nights and the other week I was blind drunk at some silly time in the morning went outside for a cig (not allowed to smoke in the house) and pissed against one of those council bins we get, recycling ones and left my wallet there

Cleaners came, found my wallet and gave it to me - then I got told yesterday that one of the cleaners, the supervisor reported that someone pissed against a bin and left their wallet there..yes I left my wallet there, I genuinelly dont remember pissing against the bin 100% cant remember

Wallet I clearly left there as they gave it back to me, but I could have left it there when I went for a smoke. Anyway got a text from a mate yesterday saying I have a meeting with some boss at work at 5pm about the house I live in (so I assume it;s about the above)

The week prior to the cleaners reporting someone pissing on a bin bla bla, someone complained about the cleaners..so surely this makes their report look less trustworthy, they could just be doing it for revenge in theory?

Scondly, I genuinelly don't remember it, so i was just going to go with the a) It wasn't me - not explain why or anything just restate that it wasn't me

and then B) ask who it is that's accusing me, surely I have a right to know who's accusing me, else it has no validity? could just be claiming someone did?!

Thirdly I couldn't actually get sacked from work for this could i?! Just kicked out of the house?!

Worse than stabbing a house intruder, that is.

Seriously, if you got sacked for this any good employment law person would have a field day. I doubt he'd even go to the hassle of kicking you out of the house.

BUT, you've got no idea whether you did it or not, and theres circumstantial evidence that you did. Probably best not to call the cleaner a liar.

Strong talking to and a request/warning not to do it again I reckon.
