Working your ticket

Anyone else working their passage this year? I'm working on the ambulances for a couple of shifts and drinking/partying and trying not to end up on them when I'm not!! It's also my first GF so I'm getting rather giddy now!!

This is my 22 year as a volunteer for the WBC { they run the main bars }

once you do it you will not go back to being a ticket holder.

There is so many benefits even although I may work 35 to 40 hours in total.

enjoy it.

I'm working doing stewarding for Oxfam this year. I've done it 3 times before, and went as a punter last year. Would much rather not work to be honest, but its a handy backup plan if I can't get a ticket. If you have previously stewarded you get automatically invited to do it again, so you're almost guaranteed to go.

Oxfam steward again this year me. Do it every other year (and when I don't get a ticket), just to keep me hand in. 'Tis funny when I do shifts with the noobs and I tell them I've been coming for 15 years. "Where does he want to get to? Sent him over here - I know this site like the back of me hand" Promptly followed by, "I've never heard of that place before - is it new" - such are the shiftings sands of Glastonbury . . .
