unless i can blag a lift from kindly strangers from London I will be booking a coach after payday to get me there as early as possible on the wednesday, i think the first London coach arrives at 09.30, could take me hours to get in though at that time :)

The CT crew staying at Ashcombe, I personally dont know what the departure time plans are but as I am getting a little bit paranoid about not getting into site until midday if we leave even at 6am because of the queues formed from the car park people will cause Pennards to be fairly full way before the Ashcombe crew toddle in despite staying literally next door to the Uberfence. There has been talk of some of us walking onto site, I will probably be doing this to try and join you as early as possible MJ. I always get the jitters when it comes to helping set this bad boy up.

Currently no, I think Lord Triangle is arranging that one. YAH, will you be physically on site on the Tuesday? My brain is whirring with thoughts of you maybe doing some kind of super early set up potentials.

Well me and my folks are aiming to be down at the carpark around 4am on Wednesday and catch a quick snooze before getting in asap when it opens. Hopefully, therefore, I should be available to help

The Ashcombe Farmers were in the queue before 8am last year (I remember getting up and having a shower before realising it was only 6:15am!), think we got in about half 10 and there was bags of space!

I've been thinking about your 'cuppa tea' and the fact you want to get some decent shuteye.... can you get hold of one of those heating elements that you attach to the cig lighter in your car? and also, if you want to leave your trolley with us no probs- we could take it up in the queue, then when I do the alarm call round in the morning you could grab your cuppa and then stroll up and meet us... that way u get some decent snoozing and all set up for weds.

I had been hoping to stay at Ashcombe on the Tuesday night, but have been outvoted by others in my party (predominantly the drivers), so we'll be setting off about 4am on the Wednesday, and should be arriving onsite just before the gates open, traffic dependent.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
