Low 2008

From last months Uncut, Alan Sparhawk talking about the bad thoughts he's had:

'Bad days like the one in 2008 when he claimed onstage at the End of The Road Festival that, "All the people I love told me they hated me today," then viciously threw his guitar into the crowd. "That," he says now, "is one of the stupidest things I've done."'

I can remember people on site talking about this.. was anyone there? Missed their set that year.

I wasn't there, it was clash central that year. I was either watching Sun Kil Moon or American Music Club when Low were on, but yeah, remember everyone talking about it. They should definitely come back and apologise. I'd be there this time, singing along to Dinosaur act.

And with that, I'm sticking C'mon on.

I WAS THERE..... and you couldn't have been watching American Music Club (I saw them too), Shoebox, They played Big Top before Akron/Family on the friday night, Low were def on Garden Stage on the saturday. Well it was the first time I'd seen Low and they were good, but a bit sullen, and then he threw his guitar and everyone went "Whoa what was that" and stormed off stage. And we all stood there and looked at each other!!! I saw them again in Cambridge a few months ago and they were FANTASTC!

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂

    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
