I hope you're going to do the standard newbie routine:

Lead her to the Stone Circle, under strict instructions not to look back.

Walk her to the top. Now look back. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?

I found that glasto broadened my mind in so many ways, the first time I went in 2004. In fact, it changed my life for the better. So much so, that this is my 4th glasto this year and couldn't bear to miss it again!

Swearing may be the least of her concerns once she sees/smells the long-drops, the mud kicks in, etc. But the magic of glastonbury will grip her and totally outweigh any negatives.

I first went in 2009. Walked up to the stone circle. Turned round and burst into tears at the fantastic sight that met my eyes and the realisation that I was finally there. :)

We've got two newbies with us this year. As we are in the campervan east field the plan is to walk to the top of the Hill and show them the site once the sun has gone down so they can appreciate the lights etc

I'm taking my son for his first visit this year, I took him to reading for his 16th a couple of years back but he has no idea of just how different glastonbury is. He currently doesn't want to travel down til thurs night as he thinks we will be "sat around in a field bored with a load of hippies talking shit" so I am determined to drag him down tuesday night now ;)

I took my daughter for her first last year and she took to it like a duck to water, totally at home from the moment we arrived.
