I did not realise that they had reformed so long ago.

Seen them twice in last year or so; Its good to reminise.. Never would beat any version of the band including Phil Lynott, but with scott gorham and brian downey jr its still a good show. Now Gary Moore is gone, we are starting to lose those important to the era, so its good for music fans to hold on to the memories by listening to the new incarnation. The recent documentary was a good snapshot of then and now - Pity some of the soul of the band fell away with the excesses of rock n roll - often the case in those days.
