The day before resale day last year I was at the FA Cup semi final with Villa. I started drinking when we parked at Uxbridge at 11.00 in the morning and didn't stop (except during the actual match) till we got back on the coach at midnight. I got home at about 3.30am and I still got up on resale morning and managed to get tickets for my desperate friend (I already had mine), and 2 other people of t'internet who I didn't even know!

So - if you really want to go, a hangover is no excuse. You just need to focus!

Phew - original T-day I was working 7pm - 8am at 'Insomniacs' so felt like i'd been run over by a steam-roller after pressing f5 constantly for 4 hours. Luckily 4AssedMonkey managed to get through and bagged me a ticket but we're still a good 6 short and I was panicking that T-day2 would be on the 24th the morning after another Insomniacs all-nighter.

Fingers crossed for everyone - espec my Geordie mates.

The max of 4 per person has put a right spanner in the works for our group of 8!! Its shit them changing the rules from the original T day. Appreciate that there’ll be less tickets but to me it makes no sense. Tickets are generally restricted to prevent touts etc buying them to sell on….. don’t get the rationale behind it for Glastonbury!

      Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.

      Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
