I saw them at reading on '08, they were excellent, a set with real energy and power that the crowd went wild for. I'd certainly check them out if they played, but wouldn't expect them on such a large stage as other.

When I saw them they didn't even DJ much, it was mainly lots of pretending to shag the DJ table while the pre-recorded stuff played. Bizzare thing was that their music at gig volume together with the lights and visuals still made it a really enjoyable gig.

Errrr, I guess so. I know Sub Focus has a "Live" set, but it's just him playing his tunes (& in the cool light ring) rather than his "DJ set" (which IMO is much better... f**king quality actually) where he plays a lot of his but other peoples tracks. It's not like Chase & Status "Live" with all the guitars & drums etc. is what I think I'm trying to ask?

No from what i've seen its never been the chase and status/pendulum kind of 'live', I think when they say Live its like producing the tracks live and swaping the parts in and out (essentially a dj set:P) I dunno i guess you'd see them more the light show, atmosphere and tunes at a really loud volume :P

Yeah, Justice live was just a huge bank of nice looking speakers, lights (crucifix thingie) and other assorted technobabble, with the 'band' leaping around, encouraging the audience and generally seeming to have the time of their lives regardless of whether anything they did had any effect on the absolutely HUGE sound that was being produced. It was great in a tent, but yeah, it's only "mixed live"

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
