Their appearance at I'll Be Your Mirror is a festival exclusive so there's no chance of Reading or Leeds.

Portishead will headline both nights, with a different stunning supporting line-up joining them each day. These two headlining appearances will be their only scheduled UK shows for 2011.

Foolishly I failed to look at the efest home page before I commented. Portishead announced for Serbia's Exit festival, which I'm sure you have all seen. I'll Be Your Mirror must be UK exclusive.

Some bastard on here (cough... thetime... cough) has tickets for it and I don't. I am thoroughly envious and for the next 3 or 4 weeks I shall be debating with myself as to whether I should cough up the money for a ticket for myself and go down to London on my own and get some accomodation somewhere. I f**king despise London but I'd swim through napalm to see Swans again.

Are you going to do what I usually do when you go down there and get accomodation outside of London then take the tube in, or are you getting somewhere near the venue? (or do you have the misfortune of living there already?)

looking at hotels close by and got my eye on the raglan which is very close to alexander palace, works out about 75 quid a night.

thinking of closer so I wouldnt have to owrry about taxis/tubes late at night and can just get to the hotel. each night doesnt finnish till 2ish and no trains/tubes at that time of night, although portishead finnish around the 11 mark.
