I saw them last year at Big Weekend and on the highlights of Glastonbury.

Ultimately, they have some catchy tunes but they're honestly as comatose as modern rock music gets. When I watched them I thought of them as Flaming Lips clones without... well, everything Flaming Lips has plus the brilliance, and they struck me as always wanting to be somewhere else. If they dropped the Pop and upped the Psychedelia, it might be a different story.

Why do festivals keep booking them?

I was quite into them in the midst of 2008 but they cant help but leave you feeling deflated and unispired nowadays
