maybe if we all get over excited at how muddy it will be and how much we enjoy standing around in cold heavy rain then maybe, just maybe the weather gods will become confused and send us scorchio instead!!?

What the titty bollocks is up with you lot?

1. Its sufficiently far away right now to say, its still more of an unknown than anything else.

2. NO F*CKIN RAIN. NO F*CKIN COMPROMISE. This thread was a behemoth of positivity last year. Seemed to do the trick. Lets ave at it again!

Keep the faith!! :D:D;)

Just out of interest, people have said that this time last year the forecast wasn't good. So when did you see that the weather WAS going to be good after all? And was last years thread this intense too?

I have to say I am holding out for good weather - this crappy run of bad weather we are having atm cannot stay here for long - can it?

This is from positive weather solutions:

The forecast for Glastonbury looks rather mixed with at present Wednesday and Thursday holding essentially dry with some limited amounts of sunshine, variable cloud, and temperatures coming in at around 18 Celsius. For Friday to Sunday, expect more of a mixture with increased temperatures, but also an increased threat of rain, with some drier interludes. The system is showing a heightened risk of thunderstorm activity, although personally, I do not believe this will happen. A mudbath scenario cannot now be ruled out by the end of the festival on Sunday but with some time still to go, it's 50/50 on that score. I'm still looking forward to being in attendance.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
