Looking at something that will keep a reasonable amount of beer cold for the weekend. Looked at the Igloo Maxcold and Coleman Extreme. Anyone try these or have any other suggestions.

It depends on what weight/size you can carry/transport. We bought a 3-way fridge for this year (Calor/240v/12volt). At Glasto we ran it on Calor and it was superb. Fresh food to start (strawberries and cream etc) and as the food went we replaced it with cans and were still drinking cool beer on the Monday.

I've got an Igloo Maxcold, they are fantastic at keeping ice for days on end. As others I freeze big water bottles, that way I have drinking water at the end as well.

Try not to open the icebox too often, and I also covered mine in a blanket/space blanket to add extra insulation.

Whats really needed is for somewhere on site to do an exchange scheme for the cool bricks - like Millets or the general grocery stores. May also be a service that those good people manning the louck-up's could provide. Theres nothing like barbacuing a few burgers at 3:00 am in the morning after the headliners have finished! Clearly would also be an excellent idea if you're self catering on the beer front.

We also have an Ingloo MaxCold 70 and it is brilliant for festivals and caravan trips. Make sure everything is cold when you pack your beer/lager/cider/wine around your large frozen water bottles, I also freeze milk, small water bottles and fruit juice to take. Even in this years heat we still had ice cold drinks on Monday having left Sheffield to travel to Glastonbury on Tuesday morning. Very heavy though if you are camping, we are in the campervan fields, I think Costco do a wheeled one if you are a member.

    • If Werchter pulled in Blink and Foos plus like Sabrina if she's touring and got System if they are I'd be more inclined to try it vs RIP if they got Blink, Foos and System. I don't at the moment, maybe reflection will be different, think that RIP is greatly setup for overseas travelling over. It feels more like currently day festival days with a camping over separate rather than hotel as its included.
    • I think many US people are fed up with the US and have definitely discovered how amazing it is to come to Barcelona for a better experience and way cheaper than back home.   Surely PS doesnt set up a huge commercial festival only to not put in place a system where QR codes can’t be re-used?
    • They'll get Foo Fighters as well.
    • That as a surprise along with The Cure is the best part of the lineup so far.   Probably means though she's about next year again.
    • I also dont think Deftones will tour next year.   But I think RIP will have both Foos and Blink and if SOAD fo festivals that will be your 3.
