Unlucky people getting abusive

Firstly, well done to everybody who got tickets and I hope you enjoy the festival. Hopefully we'll still manage but I'm not expecting much luck as the resale is now likely to be swamped as well.

I was also quite surprised about how pointlessly abusive some people were getting. As someone who didn't get a ticket I can understand their frustration but not the level of personal attack.. I didn't get abusive - a bit sarcastic maybe... but not abusive. I don't see what it would bring.

However having carefully read this topic, I notice that all of you focus on those that didn't get tickets and seem to be somewhat biased, probably as many of you did get tickets.. You seem to ignore that there were also quite a few people on Facebook who did get tickets, not as nice as you guys, posting along the lines of "we got tickets and you didn't... losers - ha ha!" etc etc and perfectly happy to be outright mean to those who didn't. Which personally, I also found pretty shocking. 1 particularly nice guy kindly stated along the lines of "I've already bought 54 tickets, still in the system to get more, don't know what you stupid suckers are whinging about, clearly don't deserve any" Well - we can't get into the system because of idiots like that obviously... but I digress.

Ultimately, Glasto will be happy as they've sold out, so why should they care about those of us that had a bad experience? Having had several years experience of See Tickets, this year was the worst and despite 4 of us working from 2 different locations (one overseas, one UK) with 5 computers and 2 mobiles, the first screen any of us saw on See was the sold out screen after 4h15 trying. Despite having been lucky enough to get tickets in the past, every years ticket process has been a crap experience with See and very little has improved. So whilst I don't get people being abusive to the Eavises, even when I have got tickets I come through the process feeling drained and it takes a while for the joy of having the tickets to overtake the frustration built up by the F5 button. See make huge profits from Glasto and clearly put very little back into improvements. They deserve every criticism they get until they up their game. However hopefully Glasto will decide See have used up their nine lives and push them out next year.
