Thank god that's over. Got first queue page at about ten to 9, then 3 all went to buy at about 11. Handy, cos could get the tickets on different cards.

Endless queuing and error messages for me. But someone got through more than once and booked mine, so I'm sorted.

What a total nightmare, started trying at 8.15 and had multiple queuing pages running by 8.30. They all then crashed around 8.45 and it then took me until 11.20 to reach the ordering page, finally got 8 tickets though that god.

I thought after the last few years of easy ticket purchasing these days were over, maybe there is a highier demand as its a fallow year after this one.

Just been trying to access the See site for 3 and a half hours.

Turned my wireless off then on again and got straight to the queue page on first click!

Then I waited 10 minutes and the buying page came up, got through with Firefox.

My friends will have to get used to calling me the Glasto God now however, in 2010, me and my mate were like 1 of 5 from my college to go, this year despite being in Uni, the people from my old college increased massively to about 34, nevertheless, none could get through, but i bizarrely got through about 26 times, so as you do, i managed to help 22 friends and people i know get to Glastonbury this year, by just helping them out, so our toll is 23 this year, and i feel proud i've helped!

I get the point, I just think with an example like this, it doesn't really apply. It's not like a que, it's like everyone's at the starting line together, and everyone has a (theoretically) equal chance of 'winning', but in the end, it seems to come down to luck (bad or good)

It slows down exponentially.

If you book at 8:50 (another usual See tickets cock up as it's clearly before 9.00) you'll get your email confirmation within a few minutes. By 9:30 it takes half an hour or so. By 11:00/12:00 it could be later this afternoon or even tomorrow etc.

Your point fails when you don't take into account the fact that the fastest/luckiest sprinters are then allowed to hold the doors open for their mates, preventing server sessions to those equally dedicated that haven't been as fortunate.
