one of the best things you can do for your kids is encourage them to be unique, i don't see why that can't extend to their name.

if they don't get slagged for their name, it'll be something else. the only way you can go to school and not get slagged is to dress and act exactly the same as the popular kids, and if you want them to do that, you're the nasty one.

Nah, he's known as Rex (and was always going to be). We stuck a "Thomas" on the front of it for no particular reason other than to make him T.Rex.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, tho within a few days we'd already started to regret it - it's hard as hell getting officialdom (doctors, schools, etc) to get their heads around him not being called 'Thomas'.
