I feel so very, very ill today. Cried on my way to work too. I've massive pains and I think a bit of heatstroke. We managed to sleep all day yesterday. When we got home on Monday night we stayed up all night watching Doctor Who and iPlayer Glasto highlights till 7 a.m then slept till 8 p.m, got up, ate some food and fell asleep again till 8 this morning when the work alarm went off. 21 hours sleep and I'm still knackered. Six more hours of work left. It may as well be a lifetime. :(

But it really was it worth it! :):):)

Bit dangerous really but no sleep on Sunday night then drove back to Tufnell Park on Monday. Unfortunately though, I had to then (post shower and food of course) drive the car back to Polegate and then get the train back to London before I could sleep. I'm gonna say matter of factually that day messed me up more than the festival itself! Bloody more Salisbury bottle neck and bloody Blackwall Tunnel killed me!

Just a little tired to be honest, and have a nasty sore throat.

Generally didn't really over do it that much, mainly due to the weather i guess. I think i found myself drinking myself sober the majority of days, plus all the water didnt help.

Took some other 'bits and bobs', but again didnt do that much as the crowd i was with didn't do anything and i didn't wanna be the only one off my wee face, so decided not to bother.

In all honesty, i found just being there quite satisfying and didn't feel the need to get hammered or anything. There were a few points on the sunday, when i needed a pick up and my poor poor feet were killing me!

happy days though!

To be honest I feel loads better than usual this year. Due to the heat I drank far less alcohol than usual and loads of water! It's a bit of a revelation - it's not just the lack of hangover - the lack of post Glastonbury blues is also really noticeable - it really brings home that stuff about alcohol being a depressant.

Mostly heartbroken at the moment and can't stop blubbing especially after experiencing what I went through on early Monday morning and now coming to realise it was probably all a dream. :(

I'm home alone too with no pooter so no Iplayer so no Glasto highlights or final Doctor Who episode.

Basically just want to crawl under a rock and not come out ever again. I'm still in my PJs 2 days after getting home and the packing is still in the garage. Meep :(

Yeah that happened to me, the heat seemed to sweat out the alcohol and I never really felt out of it at all. Feeling a bit depressed about all the stuff I missed out on and the fact that I was probably less chatty due to the heat. Then again there was so much good stuff to remember...At the moment it all seems like a beautiful dream...now I have a sore throat, heat stroke and the Trotskies . As it was my first I can see the mistakes I made...Next time I'll be better prepared I spent the first two days being overwhelmed!

I'm feeling a bit better now - I walked miles and miles this weekend, and danced madly on more than one occasion, and with carting my stuff back to the car as well, on Monday I was in agony - feet, knees, hips, lower back, shoulders, arms... Luckily only the feet are still aching - I'm hobbling like an old lady!!

    • Not my experience. I've always got the size I paid for.
    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.
