Downloading from the iPlayer.

Haven't go Sky+, or like myself you pay for Sky+HD and end up with the '+' not working, I have a solution for you.

This is how to download from the BBC iPlayer

Download & install the following.

http://po-ru.com/files/ipdl.exe

Once you have done that a small window will open, where it asks for 'Programme ID' paste a link from the iPlayer and select 'Download' choose where to save it and Bob is your fathers brother.

Also, if you want to use it more than once. Locate it within your downloads and drag it onto your desktop to make a shortcut, double click on the icon, un-tic the box which gives you the option to choose run or save each time you open in.

Note: If the programme has only just been added it will not work. Leave it a day or so and then download it.

It also downloads and saves it in MP4 format which is great for those of you with an iPod/iPhone.

You, sir, are a diamond. I'm currently downloading the 40th anniversary Glasto documentary - I'll be able to watch it at my leisure after I get back. Plus, I'm downloading an episode of Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show to listen to on the train on the way to Glasto later today - one of the few programmes sufficiently funny to make the journey go by in a blur. Talking of which, it's a shame I didn't find out about this earlier - I'd have loved to record No Distance Left to Run.

He's talking about the BBC glastonbury page, not iplayer.

The BBC glastonbury page has videos that are not availbale on iplayer.

Still havn't worked out how to do it for non iplayer videos but really liking being able to download .wmv files from iplayer proper. Uploading what I can of Hot Chips set at the moment and going to put Jack Johnson's up tomorrow hopefully.
