funny enough , I did this at pink [pop last year - not by design really . my rucksack kind of fell apart the morning I was heading off ! so used a cheapie suitcase which i never normally used - worked a treat but wouldnt have been going half the distances that Glasto involves - and it had fallen apart at the end of w/e - all in all a great job tho - best of luck to him/her !

I'm packing tonight when I get home from work. I have everything I need laid out on the floor and it's just a case of fitting it all in. I am using a sack trolley so that will hopefully transport the beer, food and tent and everything else will go in/on my rucksack.

Can't believe I have to work today - boo! We're setting off at midnight from Leeds.

Got mine and hubby's clothes and all the bits and pieces (wet wipes, duct tape, sandals etc) in my 65l which I'll be carrying. He's then "driving" the festival wheelbarrow with the tents, sleeping bags, airbeds etc and we'll have a cool bag as well (might go in the barrow, might not). 16 year old carries his own clothes. Definitely only the one trip for us!

Hmm...I seem to have a lot of room left in mine, think i only just got it all in last year, taking less in clothing though, everything laid out in garage now for loading up tonight, just money to get from hole in wall, and thats it. leaving about 7.30 am,bloody anoying in that we are only 25 miles from Worthy Farm yst it took me 3.5 hours to get there last year. Can't go tonight as i have to pop in and open up at work tomorow at 6am...Grrrrrr

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
