Totally shocked by the racist reports about us yesterday at the game.

I didn't hear any of that and its true we were booing Neymar through out because he did seem to dive and play act afew times.We all started booing before the penulty to try to put him of not to be racist.

Also the crowd was quite mixed but the end were he took the penulty was Brazilian.

I thought there was a great atmosphere and whenever I noticed Brazilians amongst the rest of us in bars they seemed like they were having a great time mixing with us,the tartan army.

My mates,one of which is Brazilian,were dressed in Brazilian tops and whenever people spoke to them it was just pure banter,they loved it.

So sad to hear how this has been reported.

We had a bus load of folks staying at the hotel I work at and apparently the bosses weren't happy with them as they woke up a load of folk over the weekend but the staff all loved them.They said they were pissed the entire time but so nice and funny the whole time.My mate on the bar told me he made £60 tips and some of the girls had over a £100.Everyone said it was great.

The alleged banana apparently came from the Brazil end.

Knowing the tartan army, if some cretin in the Scotland support was responsible for it then they are very likely to be outed for it. I smell shite.

Speaking of cretins. I see Lennon managed to get himself sent to the stand in a f**king charity match! :rolleyes:

Massive game for us, nothing but a win will do. A hard task without Mensing, McGlauchlin and Imrie. If we go all out I think we are a better team but no doubt Reid will try and play it safe and go for a draw.

I must admit I've never been so nervous for a game in a long time. I just hope we go for it, I'd rather go down fighting than go down with a wimper.

Bought my ticket earlier this week and looking forward to it in a strange sort of way. If we win then it's game on but if we lose or draw at least I can go home knowing that it's over and not have to worry about it anymore.

      Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.

      Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.

      A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.

      I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey.
