The Last Day at Work Thread

I finish at 3 today! Wish it was 3 now, everything is so slow! I'm on my lunch hour at the moment and even that is dragging when it usually goes too quickly!

At 3 I'm meeting my boyfriend in town to pick up a couple of essentials then home, food, bottle of red, book taxi ready for the morning then bed. Up at 5 ready to get the taxi to train station at 6 to catch 6.28 train!

Finish work at half five today - haven't been able to do any work as i'm so excited. Still need to finish packing as i got distracted by the football last night.

Was supposed to be here til 5, but just persuaded one of the girls in my team to cover so i can finish at 4! Then i'll be straight on the M1 - whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Signing off now. Just packing up and then leaving the office. With any luck I should be there by 5pm. With bad luck it will be like last year and I'll arrive at 2am tomorrow.

OK, offski now. yey. This day at work has surely been the longest ever and I have designed absolute shite!

Staying in the Travel Lodge in Yeovil tonight, off for a couple of swift ones in the Podimore Arms in Podimore, Yeovil if anyone else is about.

25 minutes to go! Then a fun 5 hours of rushing about getting the last few bits together and packing, and then driving down tonight! This has been the longest day at work ever! Not even watching the football can make it go quicker!

Mate arrives at 12.00 midnight. And then we convoy down at 8.30am. My mind is already in a field with a pint of cider... only my body is left here. Can't concerntrate on anything..... how old am I ?

just handed over my last piece of work, got a few quick chats to have and then i'm off, woo hoo!

go home, add all the bits and bobs i've picked up today to my already heaving bag, head up to north london, grab some snacks from the supermarket and get a good night's kip hopefully (never happens, always toss and turn, worrying about sleeping in, have i remembered everything etc etc)
