The Last Day at Work Thread

I finish at 3 today! Wish it was 3 now, everything is so slow! I'm on my lunch hour at the moment and even that is dragging when it usually goes too quickly!

At 3 I'm meeting my boyfriend in town to pick up a couple of essentials then home, food, bottle of red, book taxi ready for the morning then bed. Up at 5 ready to get the taxi to train station at 6 to catch 6.28 train!

SOSOSOSOSOSOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, offski now. yey. This day at work has surely been the longest ever and I have designed absolute shite!

Staying in the Travel Lodge in Yeovil tonight, off for a couple of swift ones in the Podimore Arms in Podimore, Yeovil if anyone else is about.

See you at the footy.

2 minutes to go and I'm out the door, and straight to the pub. Not setting off to the festival until tomorrow but the holiday starts here

For once I actually finished all my work about half an hour ago so no stress either!

Finished work an hour ago, swung by supermarket to get last minute provisions and now spamming updating Posh Friday info. Looking at the weather, I need to head in to town and buy shorts before finishing packing.

25 minutes to go! Then a fun 5 hours of rushing about getting the last few bits together and packing, and then driving down tonight! This has been the longest day at work ever! Not even watching the football can make it go quicker!

just handed over my last piece of work, got a few quick chats to have and then i'm off, woo hoo!

go home, add all the bits and bobs i've picked up today to my already heaving bag, head up to north london, grab some snacks from the supermarket and get a good night's kip hopefully (never happens, always toss and turn, worrying about sleeping in, have i remembered everything etc etc)

main thing to remember (as is written on my hand in block capitals): TICKET

leaving north london at 5AM

see you in a field peeps!

bs xx

    • For what it's worth, this is the current speculative clashfinder (don't take it entirely as read but...) with the acts we have day confirmations for highlighted.   Thursday   Friday   Saturday   Sunday
    • As in previous years, I've compiled a big playlist for this, covering the whole lineup with the songs each act has performed most over the past year or so (so far as possible). I'll share it here in case anyone finds it useful:     (And I'd had the foresight to include Geese even before today's announcement!)
    • I think some of the car parking will be used for camper van, but I don't think all pitches will be replaced.
    • Day 0 will there be any more acts announced? Or is it just going to be the 3?
    • Yeah certainly missed a trick or 2. Probably down to a mixture of cost and schedule.    Way out West, Oya and Solen work well as a package for a lot of bands. Which means Sziget misses out on quite a few headliners. Although on occasions they have done Sziget and the above festivals.
