ANOTHER car park thread

right, we had everything planned so as not to encounter this problem, but unfortunately something has come up and the guy who I am going with HAS to work on the wednesday and then come down for friday morning. As we have a few of us going, the only real way to get us there is for him to drop us over Tues night into Weds morning and we meet up with the other lot in the car park and head into the site together on Weds morning.

The problem is it says on the site that we are expected to remain in our cars and their car is full with 4 people and equipment...... what are the odds of us being allowed to sit for a few hours in the car park in our chairs NEXT to their car so they can see we are together etc? We could always argue that something was left behind and our car will be returning later lol

Theres lots of speculation of what will and won't happen on the tuesday night in the carparks - truth is, noone really knows as its the first time its been done! Crystal ball required i'm afraid!

We have a plan anyway lol, my designated lift giver is gonna get there with us as if we are parking normally, and will be with us for a bit so as not to arouse suspicion. Then he is gonna realise he has 'forgotten his wallet' with his cash in and head back. That way if the stewards get arsey he will make sure he mentions it to at least one of them and asks them to take his reg or something so that we dont get f**ked.

I think this is a fair point. If this is disallowed it is clearly discriminating against those who do not have cars and /or use public transport. Why should only those with cars be allowed to arrive early? (Yes I know it's about congestion but technically it's discrimination).
