Front Row Camping

It was definitely empty but was far from boring. We had about 6 tents in our group and about 3 or 4 other big groups around us then a bunch of people there not in groups and there was good banter every night and laughs to be had. Was definitely not as full on as previous years at other festivals but was far from boring and there was always someone to talk shite with day or night and tunes blaring almost 24/7.

The point of camping for me is for the atmosphere, and that includes the mentalists and idiots doing stupid stuff.. any time I popped into front row or vip it seemed devoid of any fun at all.

Was more than happy camping in one big group in yellow, rather than spitting into smaller groups.

Definately, as we were quite near the security on the gate from the stalls to front row which I knew.

And we also had security over visiting us a few times, one of them even challenged another eFester coming out of my tent as he knew it was mine

Were the showers in the actual VIP bit or was it just free use of the showers down next to the carling local?

I'm thinking about VIP next year and showers (without having to que for 2hrs) is a big selling point for me.

We were about the 3rd tent up in the VIP area this year but by the end of the night we where abit packed in compared to the year before, but I did notice that the VIP campsite was smaller this year.

I was camped in yellow but had a front row wristband. I dropped the kids off at the pool every morning in front row. No complaints from me!

I had VIP tickets - but we had to camp in Front Row cus the security said VIP was too full! Didn't mind though as could go use the toilets and stuff in VIP but were closer to the arena.... and we had plenty room!

    • If Werchter pulled in Blink and Foos plus like Sabrina if she's touring and got System if they are I'd be more inclined to try it vs RIP if they got Blink, Foos and System. I don't at the moment, maybe reflection will be different, think that RIP is greatly setup for overseas travelling over. It feels more like currently day festival days with a camping over separate rather than hotel as its included.
    • I think many US people are fed up with the US and have definitely discovered how amazing it is to come to Barcelona for a better experience and way cheaper than back home.   Surely PS doesnt set up a huge commercial festival only to not put in place a system where QR codes can’t be re-used?
    • They'll get Foo Fighters as well.
    • That as a surprise along with The Cure is the best part of the lineup so far.   Probably means though she's about next year again.
    • I also dont think Deftones will tour next year.   But I think RIP will have both Foos and Blink and if SOAD fo festivals that will be your 3.
