Dry Shampoo

Anyone have any experiences of this stuff? My hair can get very greasy without showering and considering i am planning 5 nights without one, i need to do something to limit bed/unwashed hair look!

So, i was told about dry shampoo. Supposed to remove grease and revitalise your hair, without the need of water. Just wondering, does this work? Any recommendations?

Taa ;)

I've heard mixed reviews. Never tried it myself, but I'll be doing what I did last year - very quick wash at the sinks when there are no queues.

My hair will probably frizz, but I'd rather have it frizz out and stick up in all angles than have it greasy and blerghhhhh.

Instead of dry shampoo, buy a pink wig! Mine has developed a life of it's own and is off to Rockness without me this weekend. It also went to went to wizard without me last year.

You'll get more use out of a wig, and the photos of you in a wig at a festival will look spot on rather than just another picture of you with almost clean hair.

It's very sad, but DRY SHAMPOO HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! Seriously it's ace, it comes in brown /black shades now too. It's really good at freshening up greasy hair, I used to wash my hair every day, since dry shampoo only 2 - 3 days a week! If you've got blonde hair the normal type is really good for brightening up colour too, if you have dark hair then best to get the black as the others can leave a bit of grey / white residue.. Batiste dry shampoo is the only brand I use, tried the glitter one the other day but it's not as good as the plain ones...

Get stocked up!!

I was going to say I also use Bastise, I bought a travel can at Asda recently (in their 4 for £3 offer) and it seems to work pretty well. It turns my hair grey at first so just rub it in. Obviously no substitute for a real wash but I reckon for a couple of days it will make your hair look ok!

    • Aldous Harding absolutely brilliant in Dublin last night. Quirky as ever but sounded magnificent. Played everything off the new album I think, it all sounded fantastic. Band, including H Hawkline, were understated but excellent. Another one to look forward to.
    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
