That may or may not be accurate - so I was told on Saturday, the crew locations are still being argued over (including on Saturday when one was moved) and it's possible that that map might not be based on the very latest changes.

In fact, I can say for sure that that map is not up-to-date on crew camping areas (unless the change that was agreed on Saturday has been swapped back again by today).

That doesn't necessarily mean that William's Field won't be crew camping, just that that site map isn't fully accurate to how things stood on Saturday evening.

I was going to say that William's Field looks like a terrible place to camp, purely because once a night it becomes almost impossible to get in or out, because of the crowds heading for Shangri La.

But it looks as if there are more routes in and out now; am I right?

I presume it can't be the final plan as where is the newly confirmed Jazz 'n' Blues stage? Or wouldn't it fit on there?

It's less of a stage and more of a "traders stall" I think (much like Chai Wallahs is) - so it might not ever appear on the map.

But if it's all gone crew then I'll be gutted and will be looking for a new home this year. :P

it'll also mean that the Dragon Field won't be worth trying to get to unless you're the first one thru the gate - the crew who camp in the public areas rather than crew camping will have nabbed most of it before the gates open as they won't also have the choice of Williams I reckon.

Access in/out of Kings Meadow or Craft field of Greenfields, means Williams/Dragon very well connected, The Park a short-walk away, and Other Stage accessible through Permaculture/Glade, makes for a great location.

More routes in/our of Shangri La/Late-night entertainment? Let's hope so.

I can't camp in my old home of Williams now due to work, but the vibe of the place has changed so much anyway, I don't miss it like I thought I would. You can go back to the same place, but not the same time I guess.

Hmmmmm, doesn't affect me as such and loving even more extra Shangri-La space of course :P although can well understand some peeps will be more than a bit sad to not be in their 'usual' spot :P Know that feeling only too well from past experience and am quite possibly gonna have to move from my current 'usual' spot again again this year I reckon.

I still think that when you actually add up all the areas that are effectively now unavailable for general camping, it sure starts to make the alleged 'n' acres of extra space seem rather an exaggerated figure so to speak. A significant part of it appears to be relocated general camping space rather than extra space as such it would seem :P

Anyways, change is good and all that and time for an quicky update on the old comparison I think:
