shoebox
Might be worth keeping an eye on this one. Seems to have a similar ethos to EotR (i.e. the slant towards Americana) and at the same time of year. I guess there might be some cross-over of acts. Not much announced so far, though I wouldn't baulk at the idea of Wild Beasts playing EotR. Infinite Jest
I suspect that "three nights in the Troxy" is stretching the definition of "festival" somewhat ;-). But this does look very cool - I definitely wouldn't mind Wild Beasts at EoTR. Hmm...maybe I should go to this: Mountain Goats on 9 September, EoTR, Wilco on the 14th, then this from 15-17....just need to find something to do on the 13th and I'm set
dirtycash
Yeah I saw this, its the weekend after EOTR, I'm hoping that this might mean Dave Rawlings may play EOTR. Not bothered about OCMS or Wildbeasts and the Troxy is a nasty venue that smells of hotdogs http://www.campfiretrails.com/ still be interesting to see who else is playing. Sipperana
Troxy doesn't smell of hot dogs to me. They do annoyingly have a toilet attendant though - save it for the theatre lads.
shoebox
Only been there once myself, to see Wilco last year. And yeah, I didn't mind it. Don't remember hot-dog smells, but they'd probably get me salivating if they were there though.
DragKnuckles
Mmmm....good spot. OCMS have been touted to play EotR before...good shout? A big NO from me for Wild Beasts i'm afraid. If they are the 3rd headliner then I will not be excited about any of the "top 3" this year

DragKnuckles
Er, they won't, even if they do play. Are we getting to the stage where anyone within a vague distance of England in mid-September is automatically "the third headliner"?
DragKnuckles
Don't worry, Wild Beasts are in no way big enough to headline If Iron & Wine aren't headlining, Wild Beasts certainly wouldn't.
