Personally, I absolutely despise Pepsi and Coke. In this day and age, when everybody is harping on about organic food and self-sufficiency, there is no excuse for two archaic corporations (of many) to still shove as many chemicals, colourings and preservatives into their drinks as Pepsi and Coke do. Also, have you ever wondered where the water in Pepsi comes from? Bottled at the source, apparently... in Chelmsford. Mmmmmm...

Another thing worth mentioning - I went to my girlfriend's house once and I spilled nearly a whole bottle of Diet Pepsi on the bricks in her porch. It went everywhere. A week later, I was apologising to her dad about it and he told me not to apologise because the Pepsi cleaned the bricks better than anything he's ever used, and since then, he's had a bottle of Pepsi by the door in the porch to clean the bricks with. He said that they should sell it in B&Q for this very purpose.

I'd only ever recommend two cola drinks - Morrison's own brand and M&S own brand. Morrison's tastes like that curiosity cola you get in health food shops (like a mediciny taste) - really nice. M&S tastes almost exactly the same but it's a bit more expensive.

You heard it here first - this week.... I will be mostly drinking, Morrison's and M&S own brand colas. Neither of them will sponsor Reading/Leeds though. :P

Let's put it this way...

There's a reason why you don't put 'Chelmsford' on the side of a mineral water bottle. I don't disagree with your point - I'm sure the chemicals used to sterilise and purify the water disguise its blandness and make it as lovely as it is - but I just think, from a marketing perspective, it's much better to put "Made in GB" on the side of a bottle than it is to say "water bottled at the source in Chelmsford".

It is, after all, the place Charles Dickens called "the dullest and most stupid spot on the face of the Earth."

    • First thing I saw on socials today were people talking about Limp Bizkit spending most of their set dicking about, does not surprise me.
