After having a quick look at the 2010 clashfinder i was wondering how/when we find out the length of each acts sets? Obviously, at the moment it is an extremly rough guide of times and stuff, i was just wondering when the timings became more concrete, so i can begin planning my days....

Cheers :P

On clashfinder it seems that the main stages are closing a bit earlier this year? 11.45. Is this due to having a deal where they can play louder if they finish earlier? If so i think it is a good deal. It also staggers everyone trying to move at the same time. Will places like the glade still finish at 12.30?

definitely would prefer louder but finish earlier - can always start a bit earlier..far too many headline acs ruined due to quiet sound...artic monkeys, killers, oasis etc...ideal world would be later and louder but not going to happen..

Each main bar is issued a very accurate running order { with start/end times } and apart from the headline acts they stick very close to it.

I have only ever seen the list at the event as I think they keep it under wraps beforehand.

It certainly does differ a fair bit from the running order/times that is issued with the festival programme so even if you got a advance copy of a programme you still would be none the wiser.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
