Was hopeful that they'd be included somewhere on the announcement but can't see where they'd fit in now. They'd be perfect under Arcade Fire but The Libertines would never play third. Any thoughts?

Do you think Dizzee Rascal into Interpol would work at all though? They deserve to play second but I guess they could play third, not too sure though.

If Arcade Fire can headline I reckon they could- but they won't be above Libs. I'm not too sure about Dizzee playing, not that he doesn't deserve it. I just thought/wished we'd see Interpol on the line up this year, their album should be out before R&L hopefully, or just after.

Would have loved them to play, bit disappointed they wern't as everyone seemed to be tipping them to. Hope i'll get to see them this year anyway.

the only place i could've seen them fitting in would be slotting in above LCD as nme headliners, but now they've announced the full NME bill for that day it's not gonna happen.

nevermind eh, there's always next year.

kind of surprised not to see them on the lineup. they'd easily second headline now methinks.

Only place I could see them now is above We Are Scientists and below Klaxons on the NME but I highly doubt they'd do it.

They seemed to be just about the most strongly rumoured band before the announcement, so I was hoping they'd feature somewhere. Happy with most of the rest of the weekend though, so I'm not too disappointed.

Despite the klaxons headlining the Nme in previous years there was hostility towards there high slot this year Interpol headlining the tent Saturday *(leeds) would be amazing Stella was a diver would be the perfect song to end the Saturday
