They are supposed to be playing the UK this summer and they are good friends with NOFX.

Im hoping for Rancid headlining the Lock Up at the same time as Axl Rose and friends and with help from NOFX the tent would probably be f**ked but bring it on.

It would make a good line up into a great one.

I'd love for Rancid to headline the lock-up against Arcade Fire or Blink (for peeps who actually like punk music) but the might be too big?

I wouldn't say they were too big compared to to other bands who have been in there. To alot of people they're massive, but really, if you're not a fan of punk you might not even know of them..

I would say that Rise Against headlining last year was a band who are bigger in the mainstream...

Seems like the sort of band that would headline the lockup, I'd love to see them personally. Lots of other options though: Reel Big Fish, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Sum 41. Any of those would make a great night for me.

they didn't clash, less than jake finished just before rage
