I have a Steak Pie

i have braising steak for dinner tonight. i was going to grill it but apparently it would be too tough and needs to be cooked in the oven.

is it ok to just wrap the steaks in tinfoil and cook them on an oven tray, or do they need to be on a deeper tray with a bit of water?

Season the meat, then put some flour on it. Seal the steak on a frying pan for a few minutes and then throw it in the oven in a casserole dish ~(with the cover on) at a lowish heat, about 180c, for 2 hours with some onions and some strong stock. Beautiful!

Im hungry now....Lunch time.

right i'm just going to wrap them in foil and put them in the dish with some hot water, i'll put a wee bit salt and pepper in the water, then i'll add a bit of stock in for the last half hour once i've been food shopping later.
