I know people who take much less, but also people who take much more. Alcohol and other spends increases how much you need. If your budget is mostly for food, I would've thought £150 would be a good amount. Are you also staying for the full five days?

The first time I went to Glastonbury I ran out of money. So since then I've been taking a cash reserve that I aim to not dip into, but I have it if I really need it. I keep the cash reserve separate to my main money, and a good idea would be to keep it in the free property Lock-Ups.

There are cash machines on site, and sometimes you can be lucky, but other times you might queue for a while. I personally detest queuing.

I used to budget 50 quid a day, but suspect that will rise this year as everything has shot up in price lately!

300 max, but I can't be faffed with carrying booze or cooking my own food when there as such fabulous food stalls and yummy ales to be sampled.

£50 a day for me.

8 drinks = £30ish

3 meals = £20ish

Give or take, always manage to get a couple of tshirts and that.

Depends what you are going to do though, could technically do it on £0 but you would spend loads of time in your campsite cooking/collecting drink.

Would you like a bet ?

Lager was more than that in 2008 at Glasto { 2008 Price list below }

I was working in the WBC Village last year at all events so not sure what the public bars were charging but I expect it was in the range of £ 3.60 to £ 3.90 for lager and Wine would be £ 4 for a small bottle so it may be the same or higher this year - in all my years working I have never seen prices drop.

There are lots of shopping opportunities as well. If you can avoid the retail therapy then £20-50 is very doable and likely with change for daily food + drink. If however like me, you wanna do a bit of shopping, double it :P

I'll probably be rummaging Joe Bananas and Army surpluses for old uniforms and kit for WW2 Airsofting and larping. :P

I spent £50 a day. Do that at every festival realy. Glastonbury has great shops thou so was tempted to spend a fair bit more. Add in t-shirts and stuff you can spend a fortune.

Take as much drink and food as you can, it's not cheap for those.
