I assume he means the set as a whole, rather than just comparing Creep, as radiohead didnt play Creep in 2003.

However, even though I didnt see moby I cant see how it could have been better than radiohead's set! (despite the fact that they had been massively upstaged by the flaming lips previously)

That was indeed a great show. I remember him finishing with Creep as Radiohead refused to play it and everyone was pretty disappointed with them about it. It may not have been great but fitted the mood and gave everyone the chance of the sing-along they wanteed.

Might have to get that performance and have a watch tonight.

I have read an article by Thom Yorke saying that night was the most nervous he's ever been as he didnt know how he would be able to follow that lips set.

They had a very good attempt, but didnt quite scale the heights.

It was just a fantastic gig. There was one bit around halfway through where the stage lit up in blue and the female blues/soul vocalist started singing the start of 'In This World' ("Lordy don't leave me all by myself...") and you could almost hear the jaws drop of everyone in the crowd, it was so spine-tinglingly good.

And I went far more mental then any big fella should when he played 'Feeling So Real' .

Moby was epic when I saw him play the Pyramid in 2003.

Wonderful gig and memorable lasers as I remember !!

Would be extremely happy to see him back at Worthy Farm this year so fingers crossed !

I think I am definitely going to have to invest in that Moby DVD. I had forgotten how good that set actually was.

Moby was absolutely fantastic in '03, much better live than I thought he'd be, and one of my highlights of the weekend.

Saw him again in Werchter '08, was good but just him and a vocalist really as opposed to the full band he had 03.
