Have seen this band a couple of times and they are excellent live, John McClure is a very good front man and always has a lot to say, so a couple of points.

Why did their Dj set not go ahead last year, I know he was there as I saw him walking about during Sunday day time

And secondly has anyone heard anything about them playing this year, they are still touring the french kiss in the chaos album

I'd love to see them, I saw them in 2008 left field jay Z was on.. It was bloody outstanding.. Silence is talking was amazing but I didn't know it at the time I was like "What? there covering war - low rider!? F*ck yeah!" I went to the DJ set but I dont know what happend..

I went along and was disapointed too.

I asked a steward who was outside the dance tent what was going on and she just shrugged her shoulders.

Yeah they were down at first as Revered and the Makers then this got changed to DJ set then nothing at all, letdown.

Has anyone even been to one of the post gig gigs that John does outside the venue

John McClure did actually play a few songs at last years festival.

I was talking to him on Sunday morning and he told me he was doing a slot in the Guardian Lounge early afternoon. It was billed as 'MPOH and friends' - she was a young singer who had a single out at the time sampling Echo Beach if anyone has heard it. John played an accoustic slot of about half a dozen numbers.

Bizzarely Will Young followed him on and was actually announced by J Mc, given the wife was a fan I had to stay put and watch that too !

The previous years Leftfield set was hard to beat and the impromptu gig in the bushes outside afterwards !

Going to see them in Leigh in a couple of weeks.
