Yeyyy, 8 of us now!!! I've added how far gone we'll be too. Just added it up and I'll be 35 weeks

I ordered a maternity summer dress for Glasto and, well, the summer, the other day and it just arrived, and it's GORGEOUS!

Oh yes - and I forgot the 'experts' who will tell you what sex the baby is.

"I had a poo and it hung to the left before splashdown - it's a girl."

"My cat was shot in the right foot by the lunatic with the airgun over the road - that means it's a boy."

"Check what's in your bin. Is there a banana peel? If so, it's a girl."

and other nuggets of pure gash like that.

Cool, I have to say, adding to the conversation about this meet when telling people "yes, we are still going to Glastonbury" is making things easier as they usually have a chuckle and forget so much about the frowning.

Everyone is pregnant, over 75 of our trainees where I work are (it's never been this high, good for me though as less work )

we're trying for baby number 1 at the mo.... I'll keep you updated if I get preggers for Glasto although my bump will not be as impressive as some of you ladies'!!!

I have PCOS (poly-cystic ovaries) though, so not normal. the average time taken is 11 months apparently, so don't get disheartened if it doesn't happen in the first 6 months

I'm doing the reverse preggo meet. I'm doing the 'leave-preggo-at-home-at-go-to-Glasto' thing this year, as Mrs LW is 12 weeks gone.

You'll be only just non-pregnant, trippiehippie, and a baby on the scene is probably very appropriate!

For the last couple of years, the Association of Radical Midwives has had a tent in the Greenfields I think. My mum has been part of running it a few times and they do bellycasting, birth stories, general advice, Q&A and discussion type things usually. Not sure if they wll be there this year but I will find out.

Even if you don't fancy going, it might put you at ease to know there will be several midwives there, lol.
