Preggers Meet

Hope everyone's OK?

There is a woman in the Efestivals meets thread who is filming a documentary about Glastonbury and wants to film some of the more unusual meets. I mentioned the preggers meet and she would like to come along and do a bit of filming and I presume talk to some of the women there.

Here's a link to the thread, /index.php?showtopic=147824&st=60">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=147824&st=60

Obviously as I'm only a partner and not a preggo myself I thought I'd leave it up to you lot to see if you wanted her to come.

Oh and regarding the time the Efestivals world cup is at 1pm and I think kick off is at 2, I have no idea how long the game is but 4 or 5 o'clock at the greenfields should give enought time for anyone wanted to watch and then waddle up to the greenfields.

Hello Ladies!

My name is Jenny, and I am the one making the documentary at Glastonbury this year which was mentioned above!

I have been commissioned by Glastonbury Festival to make a short 5 minute piece for them called 'The A to Z of Glastonbury'. I am looking at the more personal and in depth look into the festival, and I am loving all these organized 'meets' and think they would be great to add into the documentary.

I respect you ladies for coming to the festival pregnant! I find it difficult just carrying my camera around all day! Ha!

I would love to pop along to your meeting, do you have a set time or place yet? If the organiser could drop me a bell on [email protected] or reply on here it would be great to hear from you.

Cheers! :)

Hi everyone - i'd really like to meet up with you all, think it's a lovely idea though i'll only be 15 weeks so not showing at all yet... think it would be fab to get a pic of us all to show the grandkids in years to come! and to maybe be part ofa documentary too is very exciting....

I have to say as well that I'm feeling quite inspired by all you close to dropping ladies that are still going along - i was a little apprehensive going whilst pregnant at all, but feel massively reassured that i wont be alone in my pregnant state and that there'll be midwives on hand. cant quite work out from the posts though if a def plan has been made for meeting up and if so what it is?

my OH and i will be there from tues and are staying in the east camper field. sooooo glad we took the precaution of booking a camper, i'm sure i'd be fine in a tent but i have to say the idea of in house (+clean) toilet + a tidy bed to sleep (fall down in) when i get tired makes such a difference to0 how i feel about going. have to confess though, i echo the earlier post that i am even more excited about glasto than being pregnant at the mo and thats saying soemthing!

hey guys. Just a quick note to say hope you all enjoy the festivals. My partner was 6 months pregnant at last years festival and still had a great time (apart from swollen ankles now and again). We are bringing baby Freya with us this year for her first Glastonbury. Any of you guys brought a baby to the festival before? Any info or advice would be great. Thanks and enjoy the bump.

Hi everyone!

Sorry haven't been on the last week, but I've been wrapping up work and am now officially on maternity leave, woohoo!

Wednesday at 5pm (ish) at the Radical Midwives yurt

(location of which, to be confirmed).

Does that suit everyone?

Have added mandyeggz, debsc78 and pu55ycat1 to the list (which is on page 1), looking forward to seeing everyone and your baby bumps in a weeks time :D

If everyone turns up, there'll be 17 of us, plus partners!

I've started to waddle slightly, sideshow Fee here we come  I think baby has moved down too, midwife this afternoon for my pre-Glasto check, will see how much of a frown I can squeeze out of her when I say I'm going to the festy next week

White Ribbon Alliance are opening their Mums Tattoo parlour with a pregnant photo shoot.

From White Ribbon Alliance:

If you could just come along to the Mum's Tattoo Parlour in The Park field, (situated between the Sushi tent and the House of Fairy Tales - Stage Right), at 11am on Friday morning we'll give you free tea and brownies and ask you to take part in our grand opening of the tattoo parlour - which will be a photo shoot with other pregnant glasto goers and parents with babies and small kids. Please do invite along any pregnant ladies and you might see on the way!"

I'll try my best to make it for 5pm, but will be watching the England game on the Pyramid screen (starts @ 3pm - finish @ 4:45pm) so it will be a quick dash (or a speed-waddle !!) Can we just confirm the location of the yurt ??? Will get there when I can - look forward to meeting you all xx

Hi All

Not been on the forum in absolutly ages but thought that I'd best check up on where the meet is going to occur. Me and hubby are still up for attending but we will also be watching footie so doubt we'll make a 5 o'clock meet. I presume you'll all be there for a while after 5 though? If so we'll come straight over after the footie.

All is going ok with baby, 24 weeks now and found out other week that it's an ickle girl :) still not got a very big bump though so wobbling around site shouldn't be too much of a problem for me :)

Looking forward to meeting you all

xx

We'll be watching the football as well, would Thursday at the same time be better, don't think there's much happening then. We could do with some agreement about this soon really, we're setting off tomorrow morning and don't want to miss the meet.

Sorry about the delay was waiting to hear back from midwives setting up. Tara has now pitched the yurt. Its in the corner of the Healing Field Arch apparently. I am sure it will be easy to find large white round yurt with lots of pretty flags and pics of mums and babies. See you all there THURS at 5PM

Me and my Fiancee should be coming along too, been keeping an eye on the thread, so now its not clashing with footy on Weds we can make it :@)

Lynds has just started her 32nd week, so getting bigger, but still moving around, so were looking forward to it. Will be my 12th and her 6th Glasto, but our first child... eek!!

For the first time ever, were hoping that the weather isn't too hot... and not too wet... just nice and dry and cool :@)

See you all on Thursday....
