Its a wee bit too early to be arranging an exact meeting point yet surely? Let people make suggestions and come to a decision much nearer the time.

I made a suggestion the other day of Lunched Out Lizards in the green fields right next to Pennards cos of the lovely tea and food and epic sofas.

Then there's the Tea Tree House in the Park.

The Craft Fields.

The Mushrooms and those cute shacks...

and I am sure others have already been bandied about.

Away from the crowds, nice food and drinks and a comfy place to be...simples. Just got to figure out where that can be...and months away yet.

Have updated the first post with a list of us preggos up for a meet :P

Not sure when, we're hoping to be there on the Tuesday/Weds am at the latest (hoping to be in a campervan!), I guess some time on Thursday would be the best, would it? Either that or Wednesday afternoon, before we're all knackered and with swollen ankles and being even more tetchy than usual.

Oh, and Mr feefeetee says a collective noun should be a 'tetchy', but then I am in the 2nd trimester, bless him :( He's not wrong either :P

I like a fookin nightmare :P

Gonna be a great photo opportunity, what a grand thing to show our kids in future years, 'and this is you at your first Glastonbury festival' :P Can't wait.

So when are the other pregnant not fats arriving?

Just beware of grandparents-to-be fussing like crazy about going to a festival whilst a preggo.

My mother-in-law kept on and on about it. :P

We may well end up in a tent yet, but will still be going! Remember a bucket for the middle of the night :P

Only our 7th...or is it 8th :P No, 7th I think, bloody memory :P

Can't wait, Langdale Wolf, really can't, took us 5 years to get here!

You in East, redmosquito? We're looking at buying a camper of some sort atm.

Ours have been fine about it so far and only brought it up once when we told them at Christmas and that was only to ask if we were still going. My parents have a massive fear of being interfearing so if they do have some concerns they probably wouldn't even mention it so they just let us get on with it and let us decide whats best for us. Plus we've been a few times before so they know that we're in a good position to know if we can manage or not.

My In-laws are pretty relaxed but I can see Kate's dad getting a bit more concerned about it nearer the time and having a go because he can get pretty interfearing at times. He's already decided what we're going to call his Granddaughter (we don't even know the sex yet!!!) :P

Yup - although my wife's pregnancy was as straightforward and hassle free as we could have hope, 'external influences' did get us angry a few times.

Oh - another one is people wanting to poke your partner's bump. Drove me stir-f**king crazy. I actually said to one stupid bitch (who's always annoyed me) who started prodding her without asking (this is a complete stranger to my wife - she's the girlfriend of my mate) "Did you enjoy that? Right - my turn - where would you like me to grope you?"

It was out of character for me but it was so bloody rude of her.

Be prepared.

I suppose its not too bad if you know the person but strangers doing it is gonna wind my wife right up. She maybe small but she's fiesty aswell and thats before the hormones kick in.

Hopefully you won't experience it then!!

Or the 'doom mongerers'. They're very common - plenty of 'just you waits' or 'you don't know what you're letting yourself in for' or 'wave goodbye to your social life'. F**k 'em - it's a great time and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Oh yes - and I forgot the 'experts' who will tell you what sex the baby is.

"I had a poo and it hung to the left before splashdown - it's a girl."

"My cat was shot in the right foot by the lunatic with the airgun over the road - that means it's a boy."

"Do your balls itch? It's a boy."

"Check what's in your bin. Is there a banana peel? If so, it's a girl."

and other nuggets of pure gash like that.

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
