Just because I don't have a Stevie Wonder album in my collection of 500+ isn't an epic fail and at least I had a listen to what he's likely to be playing, unlike many people who have slated him. I hereby rescind your fail Lord Vader. And don't try no f**king mind tricks - they don't work on me.

Bought Stevie Wonder lp in late 60s and classic ones in 70s. Forgot i had most of them but am now catching up. Listening to his variety he is going to be great on Pyramid on Sunday. Off sick today and Definitive Collection has just arrived. I'm already feeling better and cannot wait until June

WUT NO PINK FLOYD OR LED ZEP? This festival's gone to the dogs. You would have thought after they booked that AWFUL shouty man they'd have the humility to give people something they actually wanted. And now we get this?!! U2 - a band who really aren't very good and have sold too many records, the smug gits; Muse - some modern day rip-off chancers who rely on amazing production values to get them through, the showy bastards; and Stevie f*cking Wonder - some preachy gospel singer whos only contribution to the musical world (from the extensive and nigh-on-limitless music I've heard) was that terrible song about a phone, the blind tosser.

Enough songs to have a fantastic late afternoon set, but I doubt the majority of the Glasto going public have heard more, so it may be like with Bruce last year, where the euphoria of the first half hour tailed off to general tedium in the crowd around me, before he came back with the big guns.

So let me get this straight....you don't like Blur, you think Jay-Z was a (ahem) "blip", don't think U2 'special', would put Stevie Wonder in a Sunday afternoon slot but, to deepen the mystery think Glastonbury have done better in the past. Help me out here, when exactly? The Killers? The Verve? Arctic Monkeys? Coldplay?

Why don't you toss into a cup and drink it, you certainly seem enamoured enough with yourself to do so? Replies like yours are the worst thing about these boards, the only reason I even felt the need to say I've got a wide ranging taste in music is because if I'd made my above statement I knew it'd be followed with a sly remark asking if I'd prefer the killers or something, which I wouldn't, by the way. I don't have a closed mind, I'm happy to see whatever is on and will always find something great to see, I'm talking about the fact that the atmosphere for Bruce was like a wet sock for 75% of his set, because the majority of the audience thought they'd know his stuff, because he's a massive name. As such, he would go down much better as the sun went down or on the legends slot, which certainly implies no disrespect. I'm sure Brian Wilson was mortified, for example.

I justified my statement because I expected the above. Oh! It happened? Grow up and if you've got nothing useful to say, button it.

Apart from the ones like Zepplin and Floyd who they had no chance in getting, i had no real preference,have no real problem with his choice as i know i don't have to watch them,but feel the likes of Wonder do not warrant the headline closing band. In this special year as Eavis keeps saying..i would have expected he would have pulled al the stops out. In fact last year the only headline i wanted was neil Young, did try to watch Brusce S, but flags got in way Also seems on here your now not allowed to bad mouth Eavis or complain.... Whats the point in it being a forum then ?????

Oh i don't think so...Glastonbury is something i really enjoy,no i would not have complained about headliners, just i don't think much of Wonder for Sunday, and Muse for Sat, i can live with it as i shall be elsewhere,again i was just passing an opinion. I don't dislike Muse,there very good,but would have prefered another for Sat. everyone to his own opinion

I didn't slag it, I asked a legitimate question. I didn't slag Bruce last year, watched him, enjoyed most of it, but my feelings weren't shared by the majority around me. I also didn't say that all his other songs were filler. I suggested 8 songs as the amount of songs I knew, as I didn't have the album in fornt of me, but on checking the discography it's more. I also never said I didn't like the other songs. I'm hardly an ignoramus and would eat my hat if I wasn't more educated then you. I was postulating about crowd reaction, not my own, to a huge set but you seem insistent on going over your same tiresome points. I suggest you stop now as you've surely exhausted everything you have to say and one day there will be an oxygen shortage. Don't hasten it, eh?
