Now I have a theory I'd like to test. With all the threads about legal highs I have been thinking, the people I know who take illegal drugs have taken legal ones. The people I know who won't touch illegal drugs won't touch legal ones. Also since the legalisation of drugs in Portugal drug use HAS NOT gone up, it is pretty much the same.

Hypothesis - There are two types of people, those who take drugs and those who don't. It doesn't matter if it's legal or not.

Let the poll decide :P

Wouldn't you need a four choice poll to test your hypothesis?

Have you ever or would you consider using either legal or illegal drugs?

1) Have/would use neither

2) Have/would use both

3) Have/would use legal only

4) Have/would use illegal only

Otherwise you might get both polls at 50/50 but you won't know the make up between the two...

Read it again. I'm basically saying 1.you will take drugs whether they are legal or not or 2.you won't take drugs, regardless of their classification

:P Sorry my brain's not the sharpest today, I thought you were saying that the people who take illegal drugs wouldn't bother with the legal ones and the ones who don't touch illegal stuff would somehow think that the legal ones are safe.

For instance I was out with my sister recently who has never really touched anything, I had some legal stuff with me which me and her mate were doing. Had it been illegal she wouldn't have been interested but somehow because she thought it was legal she thought it would be a good idea. I didn't give her any, she's alot older than me and she tends to have reactions to most prescription drugs, so didn't think it would be a good idea.

No only ceertain ones with BZP and there's another on can't remember the name. Problem is the people who deal in the legal stuff just change the chemical composition of something and it's back to being legal. Well it's not a problem for me, but for the people who make things illegal it must be a right pain in the butt.

Illegal is better as it has had more testing, human testing.

Legal is necessary, and also very good if you know what to look for, because for the draconian drug laws.

Just treat people like adults and make them the author of their own destiny, will the world end if Mr X is allowed to try some LSD, of fecking course not, get a f**king grip.

As has been mention above and I have linked to previously, possession is "legal" in Portugal, not exactly a third world country, and drug use there has NOT increased. Yes read that sentence again you Daily Mail readers, C*NTS, as I like to call you.

For anyone who reads a little we are getting very close to a "tipping point" on this one.

Either way I personally dont care as drugs especially illegal ones are more available now than they ever were, the "war" on drugs was lost a while ago, ironically: the only war you can win, by stop fighting it.
