Album number 3 is out this year, brfcstar said in his post before he was told they're back at V in 2010. I thought they would be main stage but that was because I just thought they were gunna be doing the same stuff again. But no album number 3 is out this year 'Immersion'

I think they will now 100% headline the Arena same time as Kasabian are headlining main stage, ie after Prodigy

Anyway TONIGHT they are playing the album in london, at a preview show and the whole gig is streaming LIVE online on their website, doesn't start until 1.30am, so its a late one

Or one to watch when you're back from the pub!

heres the preview video, sounds more of the same, just tweeked to perfection, some samples sound f**king amazing

check it out

I always thought they would play r/l this year after doing a late night dj set last year.

what was brfcstar told?

thinking of going to see them with prodigy at the summer outdoor gig if it doesnt clash with anything else.

24th july, I dont think it does hmmm.

I hope the prodigy will be there, will be quality. Can see them anything other than a headline for the c4 stage, again. too good to be 2nd best, even to someone as good as Kasabian.

What a dilema tho, Kasabian to headline V. Prodigy C4 and Pendulum Arena. That would be a diffficult decision.

But would be Prodigy

I guess they'll be booked based on...

1) If Radio 1 rape their music the whole spring/summer

2) And they get better chart success than the previous two albums

I could easily see them in a top 3 line-up, even if it means placing them in the tent. At least it would get ram packed! :P

No chance of them being an Arena headliner. If last year's anything to go by the Arena headliner's will be much smaller acts than Pendulum. They played 2nd from top (?) on the 2nd stage. The bands who headlined the Arena last year played Academy sized venues on their own tours whereas Pendulum played much bigger venues. This might all change if V have new sponsors but I wouldn't hold my breath as a precedent has been set. Why spend more money if the customer's content with what they have?

I think they have grown such a following that they might include them quite high up, they did at Glastonbury and even have their own following at Downlaod festival, the festivals love them.

I do find them very repetative but good if you are on it and want to jump around but a few tunes in you need to move on.

On Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1 last night he played a new Pendulum song called "Salt In The Wounds". This is the link if you want to check it out www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/zanelowe

Heard their set from Matter at the 02 on Friday night and the new tracks sound good.

Really hope they do play V this year. Always brilliant live. Saw them 3 times last year. Better every time

    • I got super early bird too....i was that chuffed i ticked a couple of the charity contribution boxes
    • I would be very surprised as well if they are are European Festivals and Werchter isn't one of them. They have done Roskilde before but with big gaps   They have done NOS once and they have done Mad Cool once while playing 3 times at Werchter during the period Mad Cool has ran.
    • Whole thing seems a bit sus to me.
    • wtf. Those Moroccons in Cueta can't just go into EU anyway, they would need to go through further checks before Schengen.
