So what you're saying is that the Saturday line-up is looking like The Smiths headlining supported by The Jam and Stevie Wonder! That would make me a Pyramid stage whore, no doubt!! Now if only the Elvis returns from Mars for the Sunday oldies slot could turn out to be true....

Foxton has played on a couple of songs on Weller's new album

Weller has been throwing in some Jam songs on tour for ages now.

I can see no reason why Weller and Foxton couldn't play together live at some point.

I do think though that there's not much chance of Rick Buckler playing with them as I believe he and Weller are still not the best of chums.....

Being a Jam fan from when they were together all those years ago and actually believing that Weller wouldn't sell out by going back on his word I would personally hate this to happen.

But there always has to be one miserable git doesn't there?

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
