I dont think have any real idea who will headline saturday or sunday

After reading that delightful little interview..

I really feel that Muse wont headline the pyramid...I dont think they suit the Saturday night slot...(although I would definately not be disapointed to see them play it) They are a british band with young-middle age appeal....if anything they suit the sunday...like the last two sunday night headliners...

I think if the stones had confirmed they would have said it already. They have no problem selling out show after show, and are not like most bands, who have to wait to be announced in fear of ticket sales( like U2)

I think the fact Saturday is confirmed, increases the chances of several bands to be playing, im sure more of you have a better idea than me, but I definately think RH have a better chance, although I have even got tired of their name being mentioned, as it will until they play again....I think it would be realistic to assume they are one of many great bands to perform, and have the tag of a classic glasto band...which is what i think the Eavises are trying to achieve...

I think Sunday will be immense...I think they could pull out a double headliner on one of the nights...

If I had the decision...I would give it to the Levellers just to let them and the fetival revel in memories from its hay day....

Once again...If your going to bash me be creative :P

Merry Christmas

The levs would be brilliant, they deserve to headline but I doubt it. I'd love RH to be play just for the fact that people would shut up about them headlining, typical quote "OMG RADIOHEAD HAVE TO PLAY SURELY?! THEY CREATED THE WORLD SO YOU KNOW?!!? THEY DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P" (Pathetic attempt at humor, don't take it personaly :P) Who knows who will headline, not too concerned but i'd love an unexpected out of no where one to be honest, spontanious! :P

I'm sure I read in the interview that some of the bigger bands who would normally be a headliner might have to make do with a lower slot. This could bump muse down to make room for a legend. Cant really see them arguing about headlining over say the stones or led zep.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
