hmm, thats gonna be interestng cos i have a mate who will not miss that for the world. looks like we're having an early start/travelling all the way down on tuesday.

you know. i could see muse underneath U2. they've just done it on the tour, i don't see what makes it so unlikely.

Werent the U2 tour dates based around the Glasto date though? The festival has never had the biggest band of the weekend on the Friday before AFAIK.

Am I the only one thinking of the standard of U2s performance will be...As I recently experienced, Jet Lag is a c**t, and it seems they are only human, except of course for bono, but I can see it really f**king them over...

The thing about bands bigger than where they're playing really gets me excited. Hopefully it'll be a line up to remember.

Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder what the 3 options are? They always say "Oh, we're looking into a few bands" but they never ever release who the bands who were in the shortlist are. Obviously there's no actual gain to knowing who the bands who didn't work out are, but I really want to know out of curiosity. I'd love a book that looks at the organisation of previous years and showed which bands were considered for headliner but didn't play.

Yeh I'd love that, sort of a history of Glastonbury written by Eavis It would be great to know if the Chilis really did offer to play for free in 2007, who was the 4th headliner this year etc etc.

You have to remember that muse are not as big in America... It was not too long ago that My chemical romance used to support muse in the UK then swap round for MCR's American tour...
